World-renowned Medical Cannabis Research expert Dr. Robert Melamede has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the City University of New York. Dr. Melamede is a retired Chairman of the Biology Department at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2005, where he continues to teach and research cannabinoids, cancer, and DNA repair. Dr. Melamede is recognized as a leading authority on the therapeutic uses of cannabis, and has authored or co-authored dozens of papers on a wide variety of scientific subjects. Dr. Melamede’s current focus is on integrating far from equilibrium thermodynamic physics with the biology of life and health and the unique evolutionary role played by the endocannabinoid system in these processes. Dr. Melamede also serves on the Editorial Board of The Journal of the International Association for Cannabis as Medicine, the Scientific Advisory Board of Americans for Safe Access, Sensible Colorado, Scientific Advisor for Cannabis Therapeutics as well as a variety other of state dispensaries and marijuana patient advocacy groups. Dr. Melamede frequently serves as an expert witness in cannabis-related trials. Dr. Melamede’s testimony was critical in the recent trial of growers for the Vancouver Island Compassion Society that resulted Canadian Court’s ruling that their current medical marijuana laws were unconstitutional.

Charas is the name given to a hashish form of cannabis which is hand-made in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal and India. It is made from the resin of the cannabis plant (Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica). The plant grows wild throughout Northern India, Pakistan and the Himalayas (its putative origin) and is an important cash crop for the local people Gardaa Gardaa is a type of hashish made primarily in Afghanistan, but also in Pakistani tribal areas, using dried cannabis of high potency. It is a very pure form of Charas; free from any additive chemicals. It is a very pliable substance which can take any shape. Usually sold in the shape of balls, Gardaa starts dissolving into smaller particles even with the heat of the palm. Gardaa is an Urdu word which means “dust”. It is named Gardaa due to its similarity in colour to mud or brown thick dust. Charas is mostly consumed after it is heated. After it is heated, the “brown powder” changes into a smooth “greenish mass”. The term gardaa is also some times used to describe the greenish powder-form of charas. Gardaa has two types mainly, one is soft, solid, smooth structure known as pakka garda and the other one is kacha gardaa, kacha gardaa is a soft powder which is green (or lightly green brown sometimes). Although gardaa is available throughout Pakistan, it is made in the northern tribal areas of Pakistan and in Afghanistan. Marijuana is illegal in Jamaica but everyone smokes it there and it gets sold everywhere in Jamaica and nothing happens to the criminals that smoke it and sell it. The law is useless cause people continue to keep smoking that crap. Whats the problem why Jamaica cant legalize marijauna and whats the point of keeping that law on the books when its not gonna be enforced for something so wipespread? Why did Jamaica make marijuana illegal in the first place?

so i have a fun little story from today.
in the show im working on we have the moonbox that was in yesterday’s pic. at one point in the show, we want a reddish orange moon, and so, we have a combination of red and white lightbulbs inside to illuminate it. today, my task was to go buy these red bulbs.
so i walk into Home Depot, coincidentally in this Woodstock shirt, and when someone asks to help me, i say i need 25w Red Lightbulbs… he points out some 60w Party Bulbs in some colors… but i was very specific "no i need 25w Red" he looked at me a little funny… and asked "for what?"
at first i didnt think much of it, because i saw them, and walked over. i needed 16 and they only had 10… so i was like… "i need more than this.. do you have more?" he said he didnt, but then inquired again why i needed so many… i said it was a project i was working on and he walked away. it then occurred to me that this dude def thought i was growing weed.
as i walked out with 2 cases of red lights, i saw him again, and he AGAIN asked me why i needed them, bahaha.. i had to explain the moonbox to him, and i totally don’t think he bought it.
tomorrow, i might go back and walk by him with a wheelbarrow of fertilizer and give him a big thumbs up and a wink.
