holy shit!!! some friends of mine found this. this is not a lie. this weed and hash was found near Yosamite. it was dug up and was in an ammo case along with mushrooms and other delights! i believe the hash to be from maracco or lebanan. i also think that this is genuine thai stick! this is at least 30-40 years old no joke! it did get me very stoned! i was also able to aquire seeds from the cannabis flowers.

This same gear still grows in the highlands near Laos, but progeny inevitably lose potency, like all expatriated equatorial strains when not grown in the year round humid heat of the tropical forests…still possible to clone from the first round of plantings and cross it to a decent skunk to capture some of the essence of theThai plant in a hybrid that is suitable for the temperate northern Californian summer….good luck!
We could get it in Vung Tau, Vietnam. (68/69) Thai Stick weed was on a red stick about a foot long with the weed in the top 3 to 4″. It had red thread that had the weed tied crisscross up the stick to the top. They were about 25 cents each or five for a dollar (US). I had seen the stick be green or natural but rarely. A 3×2 finger bag of cleaned Nam weed was 10 Cents. You could buy a pack of Marlboro in the box but there were 20 rolled joints in the box that looked like cigarettes for $1.00 US
