May I fly with my medical cannabis if I am flying from Portland OR to Boston MA?

Question by : May I fly with my medical cannabis if I am flying from Portland OR to Boston MA?
I have my Oregon and California Medical Cards. Federally, I hear it is illegal to fly with my medicine. However, according to the Port of Portland, the airport authorities cannot bug you about medical cannabis. Last time I went to PDX (Portland airport) there was a police dog. Scared me half to death since I had a edible. Dog barked at me, sniffed my bad, and then the security people left me be. Do you think that dog was looking for medical cannabis or for something more sinister like weapons? If it is legal, how do you suggest I travel with my medical cannabis?

It’s prohibited under USA federal law, and you can (and will) be arrested for it.

If you pull out some kind of state permission slip, the police will get a good laugh out of it.

But you will still be under arrest, and in serious trouble.

First of all it is not medicine it is DOPE and you can have all the quack medical cards from all the quack doctors that you paid $ 100 to because you have an ingrown pubic hair you want to bring you still can not fly with it.

If you have medical cards in both states, it’s likely the airport police will be lenient. Technically it’s not allowed, but in certain airports such as PDX or SFO they will turn a blind eye to medicinal marijuana.
