Yeah, dopamine does need something to make it work. They are basically receptors in your brain that regulate how you feel. Did you know that all emotions and thoughts are regulated through chemicals and electrical impulses? Science has proven this to be true. If you don’t believe this, then how come when somebody has a serious brain injury they may have issues remembering things, recognizing faces, or even unable to read? Did they lose those parts of their souls? Why is God punishing them?

dopamine needs somethin to make it work..its called soul or life if you don’t have that inside you all the happy chemicals in the world won’t do you any good.
Actually dopamine explains that pretty well. It is a chemical that is released into your brain that allows you to feel pleasure. Since different people have different interests they would receive dopamine based on what they find enjoyable. I will only believe in a soul if it is proven to exist. Until then I will consider it a hypothesis based on religion with no real grounds to verify its existence. I’m certainly not a dull person because I too enjoy my dopamine.
