This clip from Botany of Desire does a fantastic job of explaining how and why medical marijuana can help people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

when the american economy bottoms out (collapses), weed will save the united states. in other words, in our lifetime it will be legalized.

Google OWNS Youtube. Here is some information, researched indexed, and relevant, however Google will not let me type out the website in this comment. The information is therefore censored by Google. I can’t share my information, unless I were to put in a code, which I will. calgarycmmc. Google it for some truth, or don’t.
Google can not separate the truth from advertising. An oxymoron or censorship?

I began smoking pot after a “jon benet” type incident in my home. I smoked pot through college, and I will admit, through a police academy. I made an A in the academy, was named by the instructor as best in patrol procedures, and was known as a “deadeye” shot.) I have been diagnosed repeatedly with PTSD but mj allows me to function. Also, now that I am getting old when I do not smoke mj all my joints hurt.

To me, this is an issue of liberty more than anything.

@getsetrecords That was a response to this:

“How exactly did you get PTSD? I don’t remember women seeing any combat action in the 70′s. Have you had a sex change since then?”

  8. getsetrecords says:

@alfyakuza I was confused… I saw what you initially said about the price being because of the illegal nature, and then saw you replied to someone else directly after that about how “that comment is ignorant” and I had wrongly assumed it was someone else who made the first comment… Youtube page formatting of the names, I guess? lol

  9. alfyakuza says:

@getsetrecords Huh? Where did I say that it’s status as a controlled substance wasn’t the cause of it’s inflated street value?

  10. getsetrecords says:

@alfyakuza not really. it is actually that valuable for finance purposes because of it’s illegal nature. supply and demand… there’s a reason you can get good pot cheaper in California than Kansas lol.

in terms of societal value, obviously it’s priceless.

  16. alfyakuza says:

@higgies82 That comment was completely ignorant on so many levels.

  17. alfyakuza says:

Its worth that much because it’s illegal, not just because of the THC, morons.

where is the next part ?!

  21. Marleyites says:

watching this again, whata buncha BS. It only brings big price b/c of THC? WRONG! by many different, interactive compounds. and we supposed to believe some hebe in occupied palestine made this “discovery”? Oh, yes, & columbus “discovered” america.

  22. Marleyites says:

@TheHotrodMamma I believe med cannabis is another enslavement tool. the so-called “gov” has no right to tell autonomous citizens of the states what they can or cannot grow, consume, share, ESPECIALLY any fruit of the earth. they can arrest people who harm others, under the Constitution, given due process, speedy jury trial, etc. Med cannabis creates more gov bureaucracy. Colorado had it for 10 yrs, when so many started signing up, changed law to draconian (last yr). F— that. no harm no foul.

  23. Marleyites says:

@PiratesWonderful As long as banksters at the fed reserve bank (foreign banks) control our non-money supply, and now, thanks to this Barry Soetero admin, the fed also controls all of our businesses (financial reform bill passed & signed into law a few months ago) … nothing about our economy or the Republic matters. end the fed. congress supposed to control money. now they (banksters) also control all aspects of food. sb 510 passed yesterday in senate, house agreed to that version. horrifying.

  24. Marleyites says:

@higgies82 Actually many, many women served in viet nam, mostly in field hospitals & supply stations, not exactly “combat” duty, but right in the middle of combat zones. in addition to combat trauma, most women in the military are subjected to varying degrees of sexual assault & harassment & punishment for whistleblowing .. all of which can cause trauma to the mind/brain.

  25. TheHotrodMamma says:

I heard about those studies. I decided to read them thoroughly however and not let someone pick out parts of them and spoon feed them to me. They don’t quite say what you’re saying either. While MJ was stated that it COULD cause Paranoid Schizophrenia there are too many underlying factors that could have also triggered it to point directly to MJ as the primary cause. If you think that the POSSIBLE side effects of MJ are bad…look into the “legal” medications being used for PTSD.
