Question by : What are the marijuana laws of christiania Denmark?
My relatives from Denmark have often told me about the Freetown of christiania in Copenhagen, and of it’s tolerated marijuana use and distribution. I’m aware the police usually tolerate it. Then out of curiosity I went to cha cha answers and searched in, and cha cha said marijuana is legal in Copenhagen, Aalborg, and silkeborg? Now I’m a bit confused. I’m no pot smoker, I’m just curious to what the laws are in the country. Anyone know? Thanks!

Marijuana and all other Narcotics is illegal in the entire Kingdom of Denmark, no exceptions.
However, the government has very little control with Christiania, so “mild” drugs like marijuana and canabis is openly traded in the freetown without government intervention.
